What do you want to know/learn about writing?

I want to learn how to write an eye catching essay. I want to learn big words instead of simple words, and I want to be able to summarize a story in my own perspective. Its just that whenever I'm done reading a book and I have to write about it, I don't know where to start. I get all these crazy ideas entering my head which just confuses me. I doubt myself and my writings afraid that nobodies gonna like it in which frustrates me. It's always hard for me to be on point with what I'm going to write. English being my second language I'm not all that good in writing especially grammar. I would like to know and learn everything about writing and I would also like to learn about some of the grammars and when to use them.
